Be prepared if you have a spill by storing an Emergency Spill Response (ESR) kit at your facility. This spill kit aids in preventing the spilled product from contaminating the ground, by containing the product on the concrete. ESR kits can be used to clean spills up to 9.85 gallons or less.
Each ESR kit contains the following items:
- Two (2) non-permeable disposal bags
- Two (2) pairs of nitrile gloves
- Two (2) hazardous waste labels
- Two (2) 9x9 oil-only absorbent pillows
- Twelve (12) oil-only mats/pads (area equals 320 sq. inches)
- One (1) 3”x 4’ oil-only sock/boom
- One (1) 3”x8’ oil-only sock/boom

The Liquid Diversion Mat is a resilient and easy-to-handle cover which can be used to form a seal around access points to the Underground Storage Tank (UST) system in order to divert contaminants. More chemical-resistant than other plastic mats, this nitrile cover stands up to a wide range of chemicals, solvents and oils. It is reusable and withstands vehicle interaction.
Another benefit of this nitrile mat is the density – it is approximately 0.75 lbs per square foot. This promotes the likelihood of the mat not being blown away or mistakenly moved. The medium durometer sheet rubber offers moderate pliability and elasticity around the buckets. Mats will be fabricated to be 3’x5’ and 4’x5’ and weigh up to 17 pounds.

The Liquid Transfer Pump will benefit facilities in several capacities. When used properly, the Liquid Transfer Pump will reduce the number one violation received: removing water from spill buckets and sumps.
